Tikka's Ace line is for shooters who want a smooth bolt and strong accuracy straight from the box. The T3x Ace Game in 7mm Remington Magnum has a 24-inch barrel and a Midnight Bronze finish. It carries a price that reflects a higher-end bolt action.

The 7mm Rem Mag is a long-range hunting round that has taken everything from deer to elk. Its flat trajectory helps on open ground, and it hits with authority. Recoil is stout, so a good recoil pad and a firm shoulder position will help you shoot well.

The 24-inch barrel gives the cartridge room to build speed, and the bronze finish adds a wear-resistant coat that resists weather. Tikka bolts are smooth and consistent, which pays off when you are cycling a second round under pressure. If you hunt out west or plan a trip, this caliber is a proven pick.

This rifle is new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for the background check and transfer. For deer in the Piedmont, a smaller cartridge will do the job too.
