Hunters who plan a trip to elk country want a rifle that holds up in cold, wet weather. The Browning X-Bolt 2 Mountain Pro in 7mm Remington Magnum has a stainless, silver finish that resists rust, built for rough weather.

The 7mm Rem Mag has been a favorite of big-game hunters for generations. It shoots flat and carries energy out to long range, which suits western elk, mule deer and even a Southern bear hunt over bait where legal. It is also fine for the long power line cuts of the Piedmont. Spend an afternoon at the range before the season so you know exactly where it shoots.

The Mountain Pro line is the lightweight, premium side of the X-Bolt family. Browning designed the X-Bolt 2 with a refined trigger, a smooth bolt and a stock shaped for steadiness.

This is a serious rifle for a serious hunter, and the price shows it. Take it to the range, learn it well and it will repay you. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer, where the background check is completed.
