A fluted barrel and a tough tan finish put this Tikka T3x in a class of its own. It is chambered in 7mm PRC with a 24 inch fluted threaded barrel, and the Roughtech coating shrugs off wear.

Flutes cut weight and help the barrel cool. Combined with the Roughtech stock, they make the rifle comfortable to carry on long hunts. The 7mm PRC fires heavy, flat-shooting bullets and suits elk, mule deer and other big game at long range. Test your chosen ammunition before you trust it in the field or for carry, and stick with what runs well.

The TB in the name usually refers to a threaded barrel, which means you can fit a muzzle brake or other device where legal. Tikka's T3x action is known for its smooth bolt and crisp trigger, and many hunters call it the best value in a bolt gun.

For North Carolina hunters who travel to the Rockies, or who shoot long-distance matches, this is a great fit. It has far more reach than whitetail require. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer, where you complete the background check.
