Stag Arms put the word Tactical on this Stag-15, and in practice that means a rifle that comes ready for accessories. It is a semi-automatic AR-15 pattern rifle in 5.56 with a 16-inch barrel, priced around twelve hundred sixty-six dollars.

Ask your dealer about handguard type, sights and the magazine in the box. A 16-inch barrel is the standard civilian length, handy enough for a truck and long enough for good velocity. Stag Arms has a long history with ARs and a reputation for solid builds.

An AR like this can serve at the range, on the farm and in a home defense role. Hog and coyote hunters appreciate the short, quick handling. Optics make a big difference, and a simple red dot or low-power scope can turn a plain rifle into a capable one.

Keep it clean, and lightly oil the bolt carrier group. If you plan to use it for hunting, check the rules for 5.56 on the game you want to take. Parts are everywhere, so changes are easy. This rifle is new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for the background check and transfer.
