The 6mm ARC is a new cartridge built to shoot flat with low recoil, and this Savage Axis 2 Pro Compact pairs it with a left-hand action. The woodland finish helps the rifle blend into cover, and the compact stock fits smaller frames. It costs about six hundred fifty dollars.

Left-handed shooters have fewer options at this price, so a rifle with the bolt on the correct side is welcome. The 6mm ARC is suited for deer and varmints at moderate ranges, with very mild recoil. That makes it comfortable for new shooters and youth. Ammunition is less common than.223 or.308, so buy some when you see it.

The Pro model adds a better stock and finish than the base Axis, and the AccuTrigger lets you adjust pull weight. Good ear and eye protection costs little and saves a lot of regret.

Put a scope on it and sight in at one hundred yards. A lightweight rifle like this is easy to carry on a long day in the stand. This rifle is new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for the background check and transfer.
