Coyotes are hard on fawns and chickens across North Carolina, and plenty of landowners keep a rifle ready for them. The Ruger American Gen II Predator in.308 Winchester is set up for that work, with a 22-inch barrel and a Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish on a bolt-action rifle.

Cerakote holds up against rain, sweat and light brush, so you can carry it without fussing over every scratch. The.308 is a flexible cartridge that handles predators, deer and hogs, and match-grade ammo is easy to find. The Gen II American is known for a user-adjustable trigger and a stock that fits many shooters.

A 22-inch barrel balances velocity and handling, which suits a rifle used from a truck window, a blind or a shooting stick. Use a good scope with enough magnification for longer shots across open fields. Take time at the range to learn where it prints at one hundred yards. Spare parts and accessories are easy to find, so you can tune it to your own needs over time.

This rifle is new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer of your choice for the background check and transfer.
