Ranch rifles are meant to be thrown across a seat, carried through briars, and still hit what you aim at. The Ruger American Gen II Ranch here has a 16.10" barrel and a Cobalt and flat dark earth color scheme, listed under part number 46919.

A short barrel makes the rifle quick in the brush and easy to carry on a four-wheeler around the farm. Ruger American rifles are bolt actions with a reputation for being accurate for the money, and the Gen II refines that design. Store it unloaded and locked up, and keep the bolt out or a lock on when children are around. Take it to the range with a few boxes of your preferred load and learn where it hits before opening day.

Ruger's Ranch variants are usually built for hunters who want a compact, handy rifle for hogs, coyotes, and deer where the cartridge fits. The two-color finish helps it stand out when you set it down in tall grass, which can be a real advantage.

New condition. The rifle ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer you choose, where the background check is completed.
