Kimber's 84M is its short-action hunting rifle, and the Longmaster Classic adds a longer barrel for more velocity and a steadier hold. It is chambered in.308 Winchester and costs about fourteen hundred eight dollars.

Kimber is known for light, well-made rifles with classic lines. The.308 is a good match for the Longmaster, with accuracy at distance and solid energy for deer and hogs.

The short action is quick to cycle, and the rifle should balance well in the hands. Mount a quality scope and sight in at one hundred yards, then confirm at longer ranges if you hunt open ground. Spare parts and accessories are easy to find, so you can tune it to your own needs over time.

A rifle of this price deserves a careful look when it arrives. Check the fit of the stock to the barrel and action. Keep it lightly oiled, and clean the bore after a few hundred rounds. This rifle is new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer of your choice for the background check and transfer.
