Silver and brass together make a rifle that looks different from every other lever gun on the rack. The Golden Boy Silver is chambered in .22 WMR, nickel plated, and carries a 20" barrel.

The magnum rimfire stretches the usefulness of a lever gun. It hits harder and flatter than .22 LR, so it handles small game and varmints at greater distance. A lever action is also a pleasure to shoot, whether you are working a fence line or just enjoying a Saturday. It makes a good gift for a young hunter, provided an adult teaches safe handling first. Sight it in at 100 yards and write down your holds so you know the rifle before the season opens.

Nickel plating gives a bright, durable finish that stands up to moisture, which is useful in the humid coast and the damp mountain mornings. Keep it wiped down after a rainy hunt anyway.

It makes a lovely rifle for passing down, and it is practical enough to use. Treat it the way you would any fine tool.
