Big country calls for a big cartridge, and the 7mm Remington Magnum is the one many western hunters trust. This Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed is chambered in it and wears a Forest Shadow Cerakote finish. It costs about twelve hundred seventy-six dollars.

Cerakote adds a hard coating that fights moisture and scratches, and the Forest Shadow pattern helps the rifle blend into woods and brush. The X-Bolt 2 Speed line trims some of the premium extras of the Medallion models, which keeps the price lower while keeping the handling Browning is known for.

The 7mm Rem Mag flies flat and hits hard, so it excels on long shots at elk, mule deer and other large game. Recoil is stout, so shoot from a good rest and use a quality pad. Ammunition is common in sporting goods stores and comes in many bullet weights. For North Carolina deer, you do not need this much cartridge. For a western trip, it is a fine choice.

This rifle is new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer of your choice for the background check and transfer.
