Left-handed duck hunters rarely find a gun made for them, and this one is. The SX4 Waterfowl Left Hand is a 12 gauge with a 3.5" chamber and a 28" barrel, in Mossy Oak Shadow Grass camouflage.

A 3.5" chamber accepts the heavy loads that goose hunters like, and it also takes shorter shells. The left-hand build puts the ejection port on the left, so brass or plastic does not fly at your face. In a cold blind, that matters. A recoil pad and a bit of range time go a long way toward comfortable shooting.

Shadow Grass is a pattern made for marsh grass and cattails, which suits the coastal marshes of North Carolina. The SX4 is a gas-operated semi-auto, and the gas system helps tame the recoil from big shells.

For waterfowl, you will need a plug to meet the legal limit.

A 3.5" gun is heavier and kicks more with magnum loads. For most duck hunting, 3" shells are plenty.

Rinse off salt and mud after each hunt. It is a premium gun, and the price shows. New. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for pickup and the background check.
