A plain black gun does not need to explain itself. The Winchester SX4 is a 12 gauge semi-automatic with a 3" chamber, a 28" barrel, and a four-round capacity, in black synthetic.

The SX4 uses a gas-operated action to cut recoil, and Winchester designed it as a mainstream autoloader that hunters can afford. The black synthetic stock is tough in wet weather and does not show scratches like polished wood does. A 28" barrel suits doves, ducks, clays, and general field use. Take a young or new shooter along and teach safe handling before the first shot.

This is a gun that suits many people. Dove fields in September, a duck blind in December, and a round of sporting clays in between. You can change loads as you need, within the limits of the chamber.

The black finish does not hide you from birds, so add a camo wrap or sit in a blind if you hunt waterfowl.

Keep the action clean and the gas ports free of carbon. It will serve you well for years.

Listed new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for pickup and the background check.
