Hand a youth or small adult a 20 gauge with the right-size stock, and they will shoot it better. The Mossberg 500 Flex All Purpose is a 20 gauge pump with 22" and 24" barrels in a blued finish, and a 5+1 capacity.

The Flex system uses a four-position stock and swappable parts, so the gun can adapt as the shooter grows or as the job changes. A recoil pad and a bit of range time go a long way toward comfortable shooting. It is a gun to carry through brush, a boat, or a field, so give it the care a working tool deserves.

Twenty gauge gives you less recoil than twelve, and that is helpful for dove fields, rabbit hunts, and a first season of turkey or deer where the gauge is allowed. Know the regulations in your county and use appropriate loads.

A pump action with a 5+1 capacity gives you plenty of ammunition for a day in the field. The Mossberg 500 line has been around for decades, and parts are easy to find.

Price reflects the added features. New condition. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for pickup and the background check.
