Advanced Technology International makes stocks and furniture, and this Mossberg 500 comes with their parts in FDE. It is a 12 gauge with a 3" chamber and an 18.5" blued barrel, a pump action.

The blued steel and flat dark earth furniture give a two-tone look. Take a young or new shooter along and teach safe handling before the first shot. Store it unloaded and locked, and keep shells in a separate dry place. A few boxes of light target loads make an easy way to learn the gun before the season opens.

The 3" chamber means the gun accepts both 2-3/4" and 3" shells, which gives you flexibility for slugs, buckshot, and heavier loads. An 18.5" barrel keeps it short and quick.

This gun suits a home defense setup where you want an upgraded stock without shopping for aftermarket parts. It also fits a truck gun role, and for deer with slugs where the law allows.

Because of the extras, it costs more than a basic 500. If you do not need the furniture, the plain model saves money.

New. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for pickup and the background check.
