Bottomland camo and a 20 gauge go together in the swamps of eastern North Carolina. The A300 Ultima here is a 20 gauge with a 28" barrel and a three-round capacity, finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland, and it is marked as a factory blem.
A blem is a cosmetic flaw that the maker flagged. Functionally the gun should be the same as a regular A300 Ultima. Pattern your chosen load on a large sheet of paper at the distance you expect to shoot, because every shotgun prints a little differently.
The Ultima is a gas-operated semi-auto with a larger bolt handle and bolt release, plus the Kick-Off recoil reduction system, according to the maker. A 20 gauge already kicks less, so with that system it is a mild-mannered gun for long days.
Mossy Oak Bottomland is made for dark, wet timber, which suits duck hunting in flooded oaks and turkey in damp bottoms. A 28" barrel provides a long sight plane for birds crossing in front of you.
Blems usually carry a lower price. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for pickup and the background check.
