Flat dark earth on a micro-compact pistol is a nice change from black, and it hides the dings that carry brings. The Springfield Hellcat OSP here is a 9mm semi-automatic with a 3" barrel and an 11-round capacity, listed under part number HC9319FOSP.
OSP stands for Optical Sight Pistol, so the slide is cut to take a micro red dot. The Hellcat is known for its double-stack magazine in a very small frame, which gives it more rounds than older single-stack pistols of the same size. Dry-fire practice, done safely with an empty and checked pistol, builds a clean trigger press for almost nothing. Magazines and holsters for popular pistols are easy to find, which keeps ownership simple.
A 3-inch barrel is short, and the pistol is easy to hide under summer clothes. The trade-off is that tiny pistols are harder to shoot accurately at distance. Give yourself time on the range.
The FDE version looks different from other carry guns, and it is a fine pick if you carry in a pocket or ankle holster.
New condition. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for pickup and the background check.
