Some packages save you shopping. The Springfield Hellcat OSP Gear Pac is a 9mm micro-compact that comes with a Viridian RFX-11 green dot sight, ready to carry and shoot.

The Hellcat is a slim pistol with a large magazine for its size. OSP means the slide is cut for a red dot, and here you get a green one. Some people find green dots easier to see in bright light, and some say they pick up faster on a target. Try one if you struggle with a red dot. Wipe it down after wet weather and store it dry, because North Carolina humidity is hard on steel. Test your chosen ammunition before you trust it in the field or for carry, and stick with what runs well.

The Gear Pac name suggests the kit includes extras. Not every shooter likes an optic on a concealed carry gun, but plenty do, and a ready package is a convenient way to try one.

Zero the optic on the range, and practice drawing to the dot. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer, where you complete the background check at pickup.
