Priced under seven hundred dollars with night sights and an optic-ready slide, this P320C is a bargain among Sig compact pistols. It is a 9mm with a 3.9-inch barrel, a 15-round magazine and a black finish, with Siglite night sights on the slide.

Siglite sights use tritium so the dots glow without batteries. That helps when you check a noise outside after dark or shoot a low-light class. The optic-ready cut also means you can mount a red dot and run it with the night sights as backup, a combination more shooters use now.

The P320 platform is modular and popular, so holsters, spare magazines and parts are easy to find. Compact size is a middle ground for carry: not tiny, but not too big for inside the waistband with a stiff belt. It works for home defense, too, with a full grip that most hands can manage.

Before relying on it for carry, run a couple hundred rounds of your chosen ammunition and practice from the holster. Confirm the optic plate details with your dealer if you plan to buy a specific dot. This pistol is new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for the background check and transfer.
