Walk through a gun counter in Charlotte and the P320 Compact is one of the pistols you will see most often in carry holsters. This Nitron version is a 9mm with a 3.9-inch barrel and a 15+1 capacity. The Nitron finish is Sig's corrosion-resistant black coating on the slide.

The compact size is the sweet spot for many carry permit holders. It is small enough to hide under a loose shirt and still big enough to hold with three fingers, which helps control. Fifteen rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber is generous for a pistol of this size.

The P320 is a striker-fired, modular pistol, so holsters, magazines and aftermarket parts are easy to find. Run a few hundred rounds of the carry ammo you intend to use, and train from the holster until the draw feels automatic. A good belt matters more than most people think.

This pistol is new. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer of your choice, where you complete the background check and take delivery. Ask the dealer to confirm the magazine count in the box.
