At just over two thousand dollars, this is not a casual purchase. The SIG P320 AXG in 9mm has a 3.9" barrel and a 10-round magazine, and the name includes LEG and RXSL, which point to the Legion style and an optic-ready slide.

The AXG line uses an aluminum grip module, and the Legion series is SIG's premium line, known for upgraded triggers and finish. RXSL is SIG's name for a slide cut for a red dot. Spend time with the controls at home with the pistol unloaded and checked, so the draw and grip feel natural before you go to the range.

A 3.9" barrel puts the pistol between compact and full-size. It carries comfortably and still gives a decent sight picture. The 10-round magazine matches the size many permit holders choose.

You are paying for the finish and the extras. For many shooters a standard P320 shoots just as well at a fraction of the cost. If you want the nicest version, this is the one.

New. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for pickup and the background check.
