Kimber's Micro line shrinks the 1911 idea into something you can carry all day. The TLE version is the one with a tactical bent, aimed at the permit holder who wants a small single-action pistol with a good trigger.

Kimber is known for tight fit and a crisp break. In a pistol this small, that matters, because short barrels and short grips are harder to shoot well. Many owners find they need regular practice, and the Micro pays them back with a pistol that disappears under a shirt around Charlotte or Raleigh.

A 1911-style carry gun asks you to learn the safeties. Practice the draw and the thumb sweep until they are habit, and carry it in a stiff holster that covers the trigger guard. Cocked-and-locked carry is a skill, not a casual choice.

Handle one at your dealer if you can. Grip fit is personal, and a small pistol that suits your hand is far easier to shoot accurately.

Wipe it down after humid days to keep the finish fresh. New. It ships to a North Carolina FFL dealer for pickup and the background check.
